Welcome!Thank you for visiting my website.
My aim is to provide the best possible service and to meet the needs of each individual piano. I believe in a fair and honest assessment of your piano, along with trustworthy and reliable work.
The world of pianos has a myriad of topics. I have chosen to present a few here that should be of use to you, and answer some common questions.
I also take an entertaining and aesthetic look at this great instrument.
I've included ways to care for your piano, information on tuning and the tuning process, history and evolution of the piano, along with a number of artistic representations in paintings, adverts and various ephemera. Enjoy!
Tuning the Grand Lobby piano, on board the Queen Mary 2, 2011 World Cruise
My most notable experience has been tuning pianos for the Cunard Cruise Line, in particular, the famous ocean liner the Queen Mary 2.
I most recently tuned and maintained the ship's eight grand pianos during the 2011 World Cruise.
I tune for St. Michael's Summer Playhouse, as well as churches, schools, institutions and numerous households. Occasionally, I donate my work to non-profit performing arts organizations. I'm also an Associate Member of the Piano Technicians Guild.
Please feel free to contact me for tuning service, repair work, or with your questions or comments. I maintain a workshop that is located on 418 Pine St. in Burlington, VT. Thanks!
